This revolutionary utility can parse almost any script layout and extract dialogue text, speaker cues, timecodes and scene boundaries with minimum effort. Script layouts once “learnt” can be saved and easily used on future jobs using the same script layout. When the resulting extracted dialogue list is opened in Wincaps, included speaker cues (and scene boundaries) can be used to assist the automatic colouring algorithm in Wincaps Q4 and very quickly assign colours for traditional hard-of-hearing subtitles. Full instructions are included in the download package and Help guidance is also easily accessed in-product.
Script Extractor is a desktop application for a Windows PC which must have Microsoft Word installed (not included). Scripts must be in a format readable in Microsoft Word. This single user, non-transferable licence is “machine locked” to the registered PC (one PC per subscription), which requires connection to the internet to activate & validate the initial licence and subsequent renewals. Subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
